E-ticket (Electronic ticketing) as one of the most important IT product of civil aviation industry, initially were introduced to domestic business travelers by some American airlines. As the technology of E-ticket developed and brought the conveniences and benefits to the airlines and travelers, thus, in 10 years time, E-ticket were implemented by all the major international airlines. After a comprehensive study on the advanced technologies and experiences of international airline's E-ticket business, in 1999, TravelSky has brought a framework structure and design that suitable to the condition of civil aviation industry of China. The E-ticket system is built upon the bases of previous Passenger Reservation System and APP System, especially emphasized on compatibility with international standards, and has many advantages compare with other systems.
